How Ag Energy Company, LLC handles the information you share with us through this website.

This Privacy Policy explains how Ag Energy Company, LLC ("Ag Energy," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares information when you visit www.agenergyco.com (the "Site"). We have written it to describe what the Site actually does today. If that changes, we will update this page.

What We Collect

We collect only two kinds of information through the Site:

  • Information you send us through the contact form. The form asks for your name, email address, the service you are interested in, and a message. It also lets you optionally provide a phone number, a company or farm name, and an approximate project size.
  • Information your browser sends automatically. Whenever your browser requests a page, our web server receives your IP address, browser and device type ("user agent"), the page requested, and the time of the request. We use this technical information only to run and protect the Site, as described below.

If you email or call us directly, we keep that correspondence as part of our normal business records.

The Site does not set cookies for visitors, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not track you across other websites. The only cookie the Site can set is a sign-in cookie created when Ag Energy staff use the staff sign-in page; ordinary visitors never receive it.

How We Use It

  • To respond to your inquiry, schedule a site assessment, prepare a quote or proposal, and provide the services you ask for.
  • To communicate with you about your project.
  • To operate, secure and troubleshoot the Site. For example, we limit how many contact-form submissions a single internet connection can send in a short period, which relies on your IP address, and we review server logs when something breaks.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who We Share It With

We share information only with the providers we need to run the Site and our business, and only as described here:

  • Hosting and email delivery (Microsoft). The Site runs on Microsoft Azure. When you submit the contact form, the Site composes an email containing what you typed and sends it through Azure Communication Services to our company email inbox. Form submissions are not stored in a database on the Site. Server logs are stored in Azure's log service.
  • Font delivery (Fontshare). Pages on the Site load the Switzer typeface from Fontshare (api.fontshare.com and cdn.fontshare.com), a third-party font service. Like any web request, loading the font discloses your IP address and browser type to that service. We do not control how Fontshare handles that information.
  • Customer relationship management. Contact-form submissions and other inquiry details may be entered into the customer relationship management (CRM) system we use to keep track of inquiries and projects.
  • Financing partners. If you ask us to arrange financing through a third-party lender, we share the information needed for that request with the lender, with your knowledge.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena or court order, or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, safety or property.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

How Long We Keep It

Contact-form submissions arrive as emails in our company email inbox. We keep those emails, and any related correspondence, as ordinary business records for as long as we have a business reason to do so — while we are working with you, and afterward for record-keeping. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider's log service for a limited period and then deleted automatically.

Your Choices

  • You can browse the Site without submitting any personal information.
  • To ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, email sales@agenergyco.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We will respond within a reasonable time and will delete the information unless we need to keep it to complete work you have asked for, comply with the law, or maintain required business records.
  • If you receive marketing email from us, you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message or by emailing us.

Children

The Site is intended for agricultural and commercial businesses. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The Site is served only over HTTPS, and we use standard browser security headers and submission rate limits to protect it. Contact-form submissions are delivered by email through Microsoft services rather than stored on the Site. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Links

The Site links to our pages on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and may link to other outside websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control, and this policy does not apply to them. Please read their policies before sharing information with them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we add analytics, advertising or other tracking technology to the Site, we will update this policy to describe it.
